Human Rresources Management
Developing and retaining a skilled workforce is one of the biggest challenges faced by garment factories. Our industry is experiencing the problem of labor shortage and high level of worker turnover in recent years. We believe that good factory working conditions and innovative human resources management systems will help reducing turnover. In early of 2007, we set up a Trade Union for the purpose of building better labor-management relations by providing dialogues and activities to our workers. Consistent review meetings on working environment, technical and ethical training classes are set monthly. Our supervisors are trained to resolve labor conflicts. We strongly believe that all these policies would contribute to improving productivity, which in turn enhance competitiveness. We also found that supervisors trained and promoted from within are more stable and loyal to the factory than those employed externally. We will provide more special training and opportunity for talented and potential staff, even though they are not garment expertise. | |
