Productivity & Quality assurance
With the increasing competition from other neighboring countries, the way to retain and develop business in this industry seems to be the biggest challenges faced by us. Continuous improvements in our productivity, quality assurance, human resources management and compliance with international standard of corporate social responsibility are crucial to achieve this goal.
High productivity attributes to good supply-chain management. Un-interrupted production workflow means less wastage of time. With the implementation of ERP system, we can better manage and control material flow and production progress. Data can be retrieved and analysed instantly simply by clicking on the computer. With this system, our management may prevent problems to happen and minimize the damages so caused. High rate of re-working affects not only the quality of our product, but also dampen the production flow.
Serious actions have been taken to avoid producing products with unsustainable quality. We believe high quality raw materials are vital in producing high quality garments. Therefore, we have in-line inspection procedures for all fabrics and accessories received before production takes place. Reports with recommendations are required to submit from the corresponding departments to the management. What's more, we insist to hold consistent quality meeting with all department heads involved to ensure they understand the clients' requirements to the full. Production manager monitors every single steps in the procedure in order to minimize the deviation incurred from each workpiece. Emphasizing on teamwork and pay group rather than individual incentives gave workers motivation to monitor not only their own work quality, but also that of others in the production line. | |
